It’s time for the monthly Gæmz in Tokyo!

​​GÆMZ MEETUP is a place/gathering for people who are interested in the following things:

​​- Developing art/experimental games or playful media of that sort
– Thinking about games as an artform
– Talking about cool ways to make art for interactive media
– Trying to integrate non-game/non-interactive art world into the interactive world
– Music games that are not hit-the-bars-you-see
– Shaking that button
– Alternative villains
– d0peshit
– Telling me what else to add to this list

​​Let’s hang out and talk about what we’ve been up to. A lot of us would talk about the projects we’ve worked on but you can also tell us where you’ve been to or what you’ve been playing, etc. If you have a prototype/finished work that you want to share/playtest/get feedback, totally bring it! The event space is still fresh (so you can’t find it on a map app). Those that RSVP will be given some additional address details.

​​To keep everyone safe from Covid-19, if you don’t feel well, rest instead.

​​- RSVP (we’ll admit max 15 people this time)

​​- You feeling fit & healthy (in your standards) body

​​- *Recommended: Stuff you’d like to show or a device that allows you to show them (e.g. laptop, tablet, tower pc, paper prototype, altctrl stuff, book, canvas, etc.)

​​- If you want to bring snacks/drinks, feel free to bring them, however, please help us keep the space clean.

Agenda:
18:30–19:30 | Ice breaker | We’ll be hanging out as we wait for people to arrive
19:30–19:40 | Intro | A short introduction to Gæmz and what this event is all about
19:40 onwards | Over to you | We’ll give everyone the opportunity to talk for up to 5 minutes about what they’ve been up to, who they are, or anything they’d like to share. We recommend everyone to do this so that we all get to know each other.
Afterwards | Chill & Mingle | Once everyone has spoken, we can continue to hang out and chat about whatever we want.
