SUMMARY:Gæmz #41 in Tokyo (Hybrid)
DESCRIPTION:From the website: \n🐆👟🌿🐆👟🌿🐆👟🌿🐆👟🌿🐆👟🌿🐆👟🌿\nIt’s time for the monthly Gæmz in Tokyo! \nGÆMZ MEETUP is a place/gathering for people who are interested in the following things: \n- Developing art/experimental games or playful media of that sort\n– Thinking about games as an artform\n– Talking about cool ways to make art for interactive media\n– Trying to integrate non-game/non-interactive art world into the interactive world\n– Music games that are not hit-the-bars-you-see\n– Shaking that button\n– Alternative villains\n– d0peshit\n– Telling me what else to add to this list \nLet’s hang out and talk about what we’ve been up to. A lot of us would talk about the projects we’ve worked on but you can also tell us where you’ve been to or what you’ve been playing\, etc. If you have a prototype/finished work that you want to share/playtest/get feedback\, totally bring it! The event space is still fresh (so you can’t find it on a map app). Those that RSVP will be given some additional address details. \n \nTo keep everyone safe from Covid-19\, if you don’t feel well\, rest instead. \nCovid-19から皆の安全を守るため、体調がすぐれない場合は休養をとること。 \n \nGæmz is dedicated to providing a harassment free social experience for everyone\, regardless of gender\, gender identity and expression\, sexual orientation\, disability\, physical appearance\, body size\, race\, age\, religion\, faiths\, backgrounds\, or artistic/game preferences. \n \nSo\, here’s a handy checklist for attending the event: \n- RSVP (we’ll admit max 15 people this time) \n- You feeling fit & healthy (in your standards) body \n- *Recommended: Stuff you’d like to show or a device that allows you to show them (e.g. laptop\, tablet\, tower pc\, paper prototype\, altctrl stuff\, book\, canvas\, etc.) \n- If you want to bring snacks/drinks\, feel free to bring them\, however\, please help us keep the space clean. \nイベントに参加するためのチェックリスト： \n- RSVP (15人参加可能です） \n- あなたの健康 \n- おすすめ あなたのものを見せるデバイス（例：altctrlゲーム、スケッチブック、etc.） \n- 飲食物が欲しかったら持ってきてもいいですよ \n \nI think that’s all you need! If you have any questions\, feel free to email us at gaemzmu@gmail.com. \nWe are also on BlueSky (gaemz.bsky.social) Twitter\, Instagram\, Facebook (all @gaemzmu) and Mastodon (@gaemz@mastodon.online). Tag us for things if you feel like it! \n \nFor more information about Gæmz\, please visit https://gaemz.carrd.co/ \nWe got Discord! We’ll also try to live stream / live chat the event on Discord for the online attendees. \nhttps://discord.com/invite/JVHru3d \n🐆👟🌿 \nAgenda:\n18:30–19:30 | Ice breaker | We’ll be hanging out as we wait for people to arrive\n19:30–19:40 | Intro | A short introduction to Gæmz and what this event is all about\n19:40 onwards | Over to you | We’ll give everyone the opportunity to talk for up to 5 minutes about what they’ve been up to\, who they are\, or anything they’d like to share. We recommend everyone to do this so that we all get to know each other.\nAfterwards | Chill & Mingle | Once everyone has spoken\, we can continue to hang out and chat about whatever we want.
