Cinekid announced the Cinekid Lion Best New Media Production 2015 nominees in the beginning of July.
Together with Anneke Dorsman (NTR / Het Klokhuis), Peter de Jong (Codeglue), Alessandra van Otterlo (freelance), Adriaan de Jongh (Bounden/Fingle), we’ve played, read, watched, viewed and discussed all the entrees.
The Cinekid Lion wants to “foster the quality of New Media Productions aimed at a younger audience”. We looked at the quality of the production in terms of artwork, interaction design, usability, sound design and storyline.
It was refreshing to look at all the different apps, games, installations and playful media productions aimed at children. I’m very happy with the diversity and range of our selection:
